Young man attacked by group of youths outside shops in Langley Green, Crawley

Residents reported seeing a large group of youths running wildly across the parade.

Police were called to Langley Parade shops in Langley Green yesterday afternoon at 4.17pm, (6th Nov), after reports that a young man had been attacked.

The 24-year-old victim had been punched and stamped on causing facial injuries.

According to reports the man had been set upon by a large group of youths before making off after the attack.

The victim was taken to East Surrey Hospital in Redhill where his injuries were treated and he was later allowed home.

Police are still investigating the circumstances of the attack.

13-year-old girl requires hospital treatment after attack by teenagers in Southgate, Crawley

A young teenage girl has been left with an injury to her face after she endured an attack in Southgate, Crawley.

The 13-year-old girl was walking along Barrington Road when she was assaulted by two teenage girls.

The attack happened on Sunday (2nd Aug) around 5:30pm.

Police said that it is understood that all the girls were known to each other.

As a result of the attack the victim sustained an injury to her face and had to go to hospital for treatment.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to report online or call 101 quoting serial 1147 of 02/08.
