Witnesses sought as two men viciously attacked in Crawley

One man is left with a broken jaw following the attack.



Two men in their 20s were injured after being attacked outside the Troy Kebab House in High Street, Crawley, at around 3am on Sunday (25 February)

A 24-year-old man suffered a broken jaw and a 23-year-old man sustained a cut lip and bump to his head. Both victims live in the town.

Police are trying to establish exactly what happened and have appealed to anyone who saw what happened or who may have other relevant information to come forward.

They can do so by contacting police online or by phoning 101, quoting serial 181 of 25/02. Alternatively, they can visit the Crimestoppers website or contact the independent charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.

A 28-year-old man from Crawley has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily ham and released under investigation while enquiries continue.

All parties involved are believed to be Romanian.

Three men arrested after reports of man with machete in Goffs Park Road, Crawley



Three man have been arrested after fast action from local police in Crawley this morning.

Police were called to Goffs Park Road at 9:45am this morning (9th Nov) after receiving calls of criminal damage and a man in possession of a machete.

Quick action and enquiries by the officers meant the officers were led to a property on Brighton Road.

Three men were arrested on suspicion of affray.

One man was also arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place. All three remain in custody at this time.

A machete was found and seized from inside the property. No injuries have been reported.
