New Chief Executive for Crawley Borough Council

Crawley Borough Council’s Appointments and Investigating Committee has recommended the appointment of Natalie Brahma-Pearl as its new Chief Executive.

If approved, Natalie would become Crawley Borough Council’s first female Chief Executive.

Natalie is currently the Director of Community Services at Horsham District Council where she leads on housing, economic growth, community and customer services. She has previously worked at East Hampshire and Adur & Worthing councils.

Councillor Peter Lamb, Leader of Crawley Borough Council, said: “We’re delighted to be recommending Natalie as our new Chief Executive to next week’s Full Council meeting.

“Crawley is still a young town and we have a great future ahead of us. I’m confident Natalie has the experience and enthusiasm to help deliver that future.”

Natalie said: “I am thrilled and honoured to have been offered the role of Chief Executive at Crawley Borough Council.

“I am passionate about improving public services, and this is therefore a really exciting opportunity for me to build on Crawley’s excellent reputation.

“I am very much looking forward to working with councillors, staff and partners to take the many great opportunities forward for the town. I am confident that, with Crawley’s first class record for service delivery, innovation and regeneration, we will collectively achieve the ambitions for the borough.”

Peter Browning will remain as Acting Chief Executive until Natalie takes up her new post.
