Lane closure on Worth Park Avenue adds even more misery around Crawley

Another day, another set of roadworks popping up in the town.



This time the culprits of the roadworks are Vodafone.

In order to install a new footway chamber one lane is being closed westbound as drivers approach Three Bridges Station.

The lane closure is happening just outside Daniels House which sits on the corner of Worth Park Avenue and Station Hill.

The lane closure is only set for two days but with Worth Avenue a busy arterial road both for the train station and into Crawley it is likely to add even more delays for drivers.


Met office issues yellow warning of dense and freezing fog across Crawley for Tuesday morning

With visibility predicted to be down to less than 100m in places the yellow warning has been issued.



Drivers and commuters are being warned of the possibility of dense fog tomorrow morning from 4am through to 11am.

The warning from the Met offices warns that the dense and freezing fog patches are likely to lead to travel disruption. with slower journey times on trains and bus services.

There is also a chance of some delays and/or cancellations to flights.
