Female pedestrian rushed to hospital after being hit by car outside Three Bridges Station, Crawley

A 48-year-old woman has been taken to hospital this morning after being in a collision with a car.

The female pedestrian suffered head injuries after the incident outside Three Bridges railway station just before 6am this morning (Wednesday 30th oct).

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said:

“Emergency services were called to Haslett Avenue at 5.59am. A 48-year-old woman was taken to the East Surrey Hospital for treatment. Vehicle recovery services were on scene at 7.30am.”

The entrance to the drop off point for the station was cordoned off while traffic officers attended to the scene.

It was reopened just after 08:30am.
