Crawley’s most successful ever Disability Fun Day saw more than 225 children, young people and their families enjoy a day of fun and exciting activities in Tilgate Park on Sunday (1 September).

Crawley Borough Council’s Wellbeing Team and Community Development Team worked with staff at the Nature Centre to host the Disability Fun Day at Tilgate Nature Centre with support from Autism Support Crawley and the Adventure Zone in the Walled Garden.

Visitors fed Alf the tapir, met the meerkats and heard talks about owls and otters as well as enjoying arts and crafts, face painting and jumping on the inflatables in the Adventure Zone.
