Crawley man arrested after 21-year-old woman found unconscious with broken jaw at towns leisure park



Police are appealing for witnesses following reports of a large fight at Crawley Leisure Park on Friday, 13 March. 

Officers were called to Kilnmead around 11.40pm and found a large crowd at the scene, with eight people injured.

A 21-year-old woman was found unconscious and suffered a broken jaw. She was taken to hospital for treatment along with another of the victims. Both have been discharged. 

The other victims suffered minor injuries.

A 23-year-old man from Crawley was arrested nearby on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm.

He was also arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker. 

The 23-year-old has since been released under investigation. 

Investigators believe there may have been witnesses to this incident which happened in a busy area on a Friday night and are urging them to come forward.

Police would like to speak to him in relation to an assault on a man in Crawley.

Officers were called on Monday, May 18 to a report of an altercation in the car park behind KFC in High Street around 7pm.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment, where it was confirmed he’d suffered a broken nose and a fractured eye socket.

Police believe the man pictured could help with their enquiries.

He is thought to be a delivery driver and was wearing a dark coloured motorcycle jacket and carrying a motorcycle helmet.
