Crawley could experience four days of thunderstorms from Monday



Severe thunderstorms are expected to bring some relief from the stifling weather over the next four days across Crawley.

Most of the UK has been given a yellow warning by the Met office for the thunderstorms.

But whilst there will be four days of the storms, the actual locations and timings of them have ‘significant uncertainty in location and timing’.

Despite the storms coming the heat wave will continue through till the middle of the week before it slowly starts to cool down from thursday.

This will mean a very muggy week ahead for most people with spells of variable cloud but followed by long sunny spells.


Temperatures set to soar to 31C by Friday in Crawley



There is more hot weather headed for the weekend with temperatures in Crawley expected exceed 31C (87.8F) by Friday.

The heat wave could also see parts of southern England reach highs of 36C (96.8F).

Last weekend saw a huge influx of visitors to coastal regions and as temperature begin to rise again from Wednesday it is expected that this could happen once again.

Saturday and Sunday will see the high temperatures remain before they start to cool off next week.
