Bewbush man charged with sexually assaulting women outside Crawley Primary School

A man has been charged with three counts of sexually assaulting women by touching in Bewbush, Crawley.

Police officers quickly responded to a report from a woman that she had been sexually assaulted by touching outside Bewbush Academy on Wednesday afternoon (18 September).

With support from the public, a man was arrested and charged and remanded in custody.

Daniel Kolomycki, 29, of Morecombe Close, Crawley, is due to appear before Crawley magistrates on Friday (20 September).

Kolomycki is charged with sexually assaulting two victims by touching at Bewbush Community Centre on 14 September and a third count of sexually assaulting by touching a woman outside Bewbush Academy on 18 September.

Police appeal for help after woman escapes man who tried to grab her in Crawley in broad daylight



Police are appealing for help after a woman managed to escape after a man tried to grab her in Crawley.

The woman was jogging along Haslett Avenue on Monday evening (May 25th) when a man grabbed her.

He grabbed her around the waist which caused her to stop momentarily but she was able to duck away and ran off.

A member of the public witnessed the incident, raised the alarm and went to the woman’s aid.

The man is described as black, 5′ 8″ – 5′ 9″, wearing a hat and winter coat and carrying a black rucksack.

He was said to be shuffling on his heels as he walked.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information about the man is asked to report online or call 101 quoting serial 1470 of 25/05.
